Cameron graduated in 1990 and worked for two years in England. In 1993 he began working at Somerville Physiotherapy and in 1998 he took over the practice. In 1994/5 he completed a post graduate diploma in Sports Physiotherapy and in 1999 was awarded the title of Sports Physiotherapist, recognising his advanced skills in the field.
Since 2004 to 2015, Cameron worked with the Australian junior and senior soccer teams. Cameron was the physiotherapist to the Australian Soccer Team at the Beijing Olympics 2008 (Olyroos) and was the Physiotherapist with the Socceroos at the World Cup in Brazil in 2014.
He has a special interest in the management of low back pain, hip and groin pain, soccer and sports injuries, and jaw (TMJ) conditions.
